The new Production Safety Law has been implemented since September 1, 2021. In order to study and implement the new law in depth, improve the level of safety management, promote the implementation of the main responsibility, and enhance the concept of safety and rule of law and awareness of responsibility among the leading cadres and employees at all levels, the Group held a training activity on the new Production Safety Law 2021 in the morning of September 10 at the Fumei Hall on the second floor of CNOOC Taifu International Hotel. Chairman Hu Yuxing of the group company and 126 people, including heads and supervisors of various departments, attended the training class and made a mobilization speech before the class.

The company invited Mr. Zhang Zhi'ai, a senior engineer from China Harbor Jinbang East China Company and an expert from Zhangjiagang Emergency Management Bureau, to give a lecture. Mr. Zhang combined with the characteristics of the industry of CNOOC Taifu to explain in detail the background and significance of the revision of the new "Safety Production Law", the content of the main revised articles, the main responsibility of enterprise safety production, the duties of the main person in charge and safety agency personnel, legal responsibilities, etc. combined with the relevant parts of the enterprise in an in-depth and easy to understand manner.

At the end of the training session, Chairman Hu Yuxing shared his experience of "three management and three musts" with the group company and asked each department to manage the safety work well while grasping the business. At the same time, he instructed that everyone is responsible for safety production, and asked all departments to pay attention to the study of the new safety law, to pay attention to the safety training of employees, so that all of them know the law and abide by it, and also to use it in combination with their jobs, so as to enhance the safety awareness of all of them. Finally, all departments are required to take effective measures to further standardize safety management and ensure the safe and healthy development of the company by combining with the "double promotion and double enhancement" theme work of the group company this year.
The training and learning activities helped everyone to have a correct understanding of the new "Production Safety Law", a new understanding of the concept of safety development under the new situation, a practical sense of the importance of safety work for the survival and sustainable and healthy development of the company, and further enhance everyone's awareness of the rule of law and responsibility for safety.
